What is Kyushindo Judo?

The words ‘JU’ and ‘DO’ in Japanese are translated into English as ‘Gentle Way’. This is the aim of Lancing Kyushindo Judo

Club; to train in an effective Martial Art safely and enjoyably. Anyone

from 8 to 80 can progress with little risk of injury.

Kyushindo Judo uses "The Art of Unbalancing" to throw an opponent, not

Is training expensive?



No. The cost of a session is £2.00 for under 16s and £3.00 for Adults.

This goes towards the hire of the hall and upkeep of mats. An annual

membership fee is under review at this time. A grading (see below) will

cost £5.00 currently.
